Hello Bulldogs!

We had another wonderful week here at The Shire! The first round of state testing will be happening soon so keep an eye out for more information from your child’s teacher about that. Make sure to wear your favorite college colors on Friday, August 29 for National College Colors Day (black and gold is the only correct answer 🙂Go Knights!). When planning ahead, don’t forget that Monday, September 1 is Labor Day so school will be closed. Hope you had a restful weekend and are ready for another fabulous week!

“One Love” is the PTA’s primary fundraiser to fund things such as campus improvements, teacher and staff appreciation, our weekend meal program, school enrichment programs, and community events….just to name a few. 

This year, we have structured One Love with planned fundraisers throughout the year.

We need your help in making Brookshire PTA  a success this year! We are looking for volunteers to facilitate parking in the Brookshire lot during WPHS football games. This initiative funds One Love, our annual fundraiser. This is a great opportunity for students looking for community service hours! 

The Backyard Picnic is next Friday night, Sept 5th from 5:30 PM-8:00 PM!  Food trucks! Bounce houses! Music! Bring chairs or blankets to sit on. It’s a great opportunity to pause and get together for some fun and relaxation with our school community after the whirlwind of back-to-school!

Cost is $25 and all proceeds benefit Brookshire PTA! To pay, please visit our PTA store below. To reserve your date, you MUST complete the Google form (found at the link when you pay) at least seven (7) days in advance of the date you want the message displayed.
